    1. As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.

    2. I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I’m especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.

    3. I don’t really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I’ve been
making more than $100k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don’t have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don’t blame
      people who panic.

    4. Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted based on thorough research and years of practical experience.

    5. nice!! once you hit a big milestone, the next comes easier. How can i reach her, if you don’t mind me asking?

  3. Yes, Sven, but berkshire was trading at 250 a few years ago and according to you it was too expensive. Will we ever see 250 again? I don’t think so. If there are no opportunities that you like, it’s better to just buy a good business trading at a fair price and wait for the value to catch up.

    1. Yea but it was to expensive for Sven because he had better ideas. I think I remember him saying there is nothing wrong with buying it but returns won’t be stellar going out 20 years because of size. He did say returns would be there tho. And now Berkshire is up it’s even less likely now it will do amazing but it will still do ok. 50% down from now would be 225 so it’s definitely possible also Warren has stated that now the market is more overvalued and more like a casino than ever before meaning Berkshire is more overvalued than ever before meaning it could drop lower than 225 however fundamentally it has improved since 2020 so unlikely it will go below 1.2X B/V.

  4. Yes, Sven, we watch the fundamentals, like we did for Intel and posted youtube videos screaming to buy. It’s all about risk reward and you have to weight what fits you 😉

  5. I n 2020 the stock market took a precipitous drop. BRKB was on fire sale. Mr market had a temporary moment of insanity. I backed up the truck and loaded up and have double my money in 4 years. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity

  6. Thank you Sven, great content. For me, it is a big question how to keep my opportunity money as a retail investor. It would be great, if you could cover some techniques for this, because I feel like inflation is slowly (or maybe not that slowly) eating away my cash position.

  7. Effective risk management and diversification are crucial components of a successful value investing strategy, enabling investors to mitigate potential losses, reduce portfolio volatility, and achieve long-term returns.

    1. Absolutely! Effective risk management and diversification are essential for value investing success, helping investors navigate market uncertainties and achieve consistent long-term returns.

    2. Sector rotation can enhance returns, but it requires careful timing. I focus on industries with strong fundamentals and
      growth potential.

    3. Warren Buffett’s sector-agnostic approach has proven successful. What
are your thoughts on his investment philosophy?

    4. I think buffett’s focus on quality, margin of safety, and long-term horizon is inspiring. His ability to adapt to changing market conditions is remarkable.

    5. Adaptability is crucial! Value investing requires continuous learning and adjusting strategies to navigate evolving market landscapes.

  8. Sven, just out of curiosity, what do you think about the austrian economics understanding of market crashes? The way I understand it, when the economy is flooded with money in order to “stimulate” it, it promotes malinvestments and lack of savings throughout the market, which leads to bubbles where we are eventually left with just a bunch of poor investments and debt. I don’t know if my understanding here is correct, but am I getting at least the basics right?
