I’ve been talking about the possibility of this happening in the market for years (heck, my book is on this very subject… out there for anybody to see). Like your videos, my book and my videos are designed to help people learn to actually understand how to invest and prepare for things like this. I don’t know how you feel about it (your channel is much larger than mine) – but it’s hard to feel like you’re having much of an impact relative to the size of their audiences. Keep up the good work!

I’m in an interesting situation. The AUD was 75 cents when I bought into US equities… all stocks are technically in losses… but only 1 is negative because the FX effect has washed out the losses for now. The more the FED raises the more the AUD weakens against the Greeback. Though I have an impending sense of doom. The raising of rates will do nothing to bring down inflation. Will do nothing for things such as fertiliser…

Good video Sven, thank you. This week, a guy in my team said he was sick, I asked why. He said he lost a lot of money in bitcoin, hasn’t told his wife, but it must go up! I didn’t disagree as he would not listen, people who believe digital coins is an asset are already too far gone. Invest in what you can touch, not some pipe dream.
Sven thanks again for the valuable videos. When you’ ll touch the index investing theme, it would be great if you could also mention the differences and potential risks between index funds and etfs as long as the risk of liquidation if the uav are no longer large enough for the managing company to be profitable, which i guess will come at the worst timing regarding the ETF’ s underlying securities price.
Well that would be impossible to do considering I’m in my late 50s and I’m more interested in investments that could set me up for retirement in my 60s, my goal is atleast $2million
Great video as always. It all depends what you put your money in. When the nasdaq is 25% down and s&p500 is 18% down my portfolio at 0-1% up not including dividends. Invest in great businesses with strong cashflows and don’t overpay for them and you will do good. I guess my strategy is exactly what Sven teaches on his channel.

I mean, it was inevitable. I’ve been waiting a very long time for sky-high valuations to start coming back down to Earth. Here’s to hoping the Fed winds their necks in and lets this play out, people might learn a thing or two… then again… nobody learned the last 7 times.
For the past 6 months ive been building my boring dividend portfolio. Its down but outperforming the indicies.
My china and growth portfolios are hurting bad. But as i grow as an investor the drawdown will be negelable in the long run.
It has been a very interesting time to learn investing. Perhaps the best time, lessons were learned quickly.
@Sven, can you make a follow up video on Alibaba? Has your thesis changed on the stock and what do you think the risk and rewards are with the stock going forward.
