  1. WARNING: As the channel grows (thank you all for that), there are more and more scammers impersonating me. The only thing I am selling is my Research Platform and Book https://sven-carlin-research-platform.teachable.com/p/stock-market-research-platform
All that I do, the real links to my content are in the description of the video, I don’t give out my Whatsapp number and I don’t sell any Cryptocurrency related things! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!

    1. So dialio and other been saying to invest in “emerging markets” since the late 90’s….and yes two plus decades after America was the place to be in! First was Japan, then China, and India and now Africa….yet for decades they all been wrong…they remind me of Burberry….just call for a crash non stop until finally right…

  2. I believe all of this. The question is when does common sense kick in, the bubble pops, the market and fed has been able to live in delusion for over a decade.

  3. I’m curious what your view is on dividend investing for the upcoming years, assuming we’ll have a recession and/or couple of flat years

    1. I am equally interested in this and I hope Sven can do a deep dive about it. Of course, keeping in mind that selected dividend-paying equities must be having very healthy free cash flow to sustain those dividends.

    2. That’s when dividends do the best because it’ll buy back in at a cheap price then when the bull market starts again you’ll have massive growth

  4. “What the hell are real assets?” That is the question I continue to ask myself…and one of the primary reasons that I continue to follow you. Not as easy of a question as it may appear…nice video!

  5. Dailio was so often wrong in the last time that any retail investor would be insolvent. He is playing his own game with other people money.

    1. Yes, so true … these guys cry for years and years about the impending doom and gloom.. No one ever calls them out when they are wrong when things go up. But when the markets have a bit of fear, they are all of a sudden treated like the messiah! Remember .. fear sells better than greed! This has been proven time and time again.

    2. Just like Peter Lynch said; if we knew the future of the economy and interest rates, we would all be millionaires and billionaires. No one knows what’s really going to happen in the short term. I’m not going to bet against America.

  6. Thanks for making some sense in this crazy market. I’m trying to stay sane, invest in companies that are selling for fair prices. And again seeing the whole market flying up like crazy, particularly on high flying low income companies. Hard to make sense of what’s going on, unless we have a huge bear trap in the making.

  7. A small correction. The nasdaq chart at 11 minutes was actually of the company nasdaq and not the index.

  8. Thank you, a bit confused about real assets and about real estate. I don’t think that in a recession, real estate may be the best investment. It can mantain a bit of value, but cannot rebound fast and not easy to sell to get liquidity then.

    1. depends on the recession, and why you own it. I don’t get people that just look at the price of real estate! The best RE investments are the ones you never sell!

  9. It is just a pull back on relatively low volume. I love how commentators on Bloomberg get all excited and disregard all VPA or technical analysis haha

  10. So value investors should keep what they do and ignore the macro noise (stagflation etc) or should they sell stocks that are not “real assets”? I am a bit confused…I think I have undervalued stocks but not sure if they are “real asset” type

  11. This is strange. Valueentertainment said the opposite, that there will be a housing bubble coming in 0,5-1 year time, and that if you’re looking to buy a house you should wait for about 1 year for the bubble to pop and save about 20%.

    1. According to Grantham, housing is in a bubble also. The housing bubble is a global phenomenon, not just US predicament.

  12. I think this time we can also have stagflation without high unemployment. Consider demographics: if the working age cohort of people starts to decline, you will have less economic activity without high unemployment while at the same time inflation is necessary to devalue the high levels of government and private debt (which is significantly different in the age of Volcker).

  13. I think it comes back to dividend investing. Investing is ultimately about receiving dividends, or at least increasing the potential for dividends in the future. Ask yourself, am I happy with the dividend yield of my portfolio, and does it have the fundamental ability to keep paying and pay more in the future?

  14. Could these continued recoveries in the market be down to retail investors being “better educated” than in previous bubbles and buying every time prices dip?

  15. So dialio and other been saying to invest in “emerging markets” since the late 90’s….and yes two plus decades after America was the place to be in! First was Japan, then China, and India and now Africa….yet for decades they all been wrong…they remind me of Burberry….just call for a crash non stop until finally right…
