I love the grounded reality of this channel… TA is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure TA and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It’s kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market.This is the worst possible time in history to invest as so many don’t back up their crypto assets.More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.I have made over 1.8btc from day tradng with Peter Donovan insights and signals in less than 2 weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.

Hi Sven, thanks for the video. My thoughts are – as long as inflation is high and unemployment is low they will have to focus on fighting inflation, that means unemployment is going to go up and all sorts of other negative things that come with that. If they print now or anytime soon they run the risk of the official inflation going above 10% and more importantly they run the risk of long term inflation expectations increasing. Right now the inflation expectation consensus is only 2.5% average rate for next 10 years (far too low imo) if they ease now or too soon expectations will increase and this will cause currency and bond sell off (like what happened in the UK) it will also reducing incentive to save as the real rate is interest rate minus expected inflation and inflation will become more psychologically built in and harder to break. They have to keep long term inflation expectations down as much as possible, easing will bring them up

1 yr vs 5 analysis is what people always miss, we are in a minor recession (-20% in one year) but from 2012 to today you would still be doing well over 12% average returns for the 10 year period, this is more likely a good time to buy the market rather than the time to cash out and wait for a collapse.

Insightful analysis BUT isn’t unemployment a lagging indicator? It could be that things are already breaking in the economy and the cycle downward business cycle will get reinforced once the layoffs come. As we saw in prior recessions, rapidly slashing interest rates does not totally stop systemic risk in credit markets as “too big to fail” makes it to the news headlines. It takes a year or so for higher interest rates to ripple through the economy and make things break. We are already seeing the effects in the crypto market, and it probably won’t be the last thing to break before the economy is up, up and away. But of course this is all speculation, not investing, unless we are geniuses like michael burry (highly unlikely).
