Hey Sven, you do your best work when you do deep dives into sectors and companies you know… also when you go through an entire index looming for diamonds in the dirt.
working on that now, but that takes a lot of time and is a process, this is just a commentary that takes little time, but I think gives value to those interested. The title tell you whether it is for you or not:-)
I currently have 6k to ready to invest. Hopefully google drops to 85 this week. If it does i will buy 25 stocks.
The rest will probably go into s&p 500.

Hi Sven, I really appreciate your videos – this is by far my favorite youtube channel. Thank you so much for the great work. This time I don’t fully agree with your analysis when it comes to bonds : there is an argument to be made for long-term bonds to be the best performing asset class either in 2023 or 2024. Historically central banks react to recessions with relatively rapid interest rates cuts…long bond tend to be perform really well in this environment. Considering the relatively high probability of a recession in the coming 2 years long bonds appear to be a potentially interesting asymmetric bet

I’ll still DCA into 80% VTI, 15% VXUS and 5% VWO. Plus my defined contribution plan (for as long as I have a job anyway)
I’m still in the market, but I’m holding a reserve to deploy if things get cheaper.
I also have an ample emergency fund in case less/no money is coming in.
If the dollar collapses, I;m effed though.

I’m European and I’m always checking for investment ideas.
US treasuries are really nice with ~5% coupons but unfortunately is very hard for Europeans buy them. Americans don’t like to sell to Europeans?
I’m still trying to buy them using Interactive brokers I think that might work. Do you have any insights on this?

@Marian Machacek Already have that, and its not good. Bonds ETFs went down.
I would prefer to buy the US notes or bonds directly.
Try SHY, IEF or TLT.
it should be easy, depends on how much money you have! But think of it differently, if you are not capable of buying something, do you think you understand the risk and reward? Sorry for the rude answer but I think it as the most valuable!

US natural gas, UNG and BOIL is the place to be right now for sometime. It US natural gas is near 30 year lows and I have placed a significant amount.
