Thanks Sven for your work. I have a question: the value you did is from future E or CF, don’t you need to add the value of the “current assets” (all the net assets)? bz I think the value of this asset is a considersble amount.

I sold at 174 after closing my calls and got back at around 154 to 155 and sold one month calls again which I keep doing over and over and last collected $8 per share. Added some BNS a major bank paying 6% dividend. It has been paying since the 1800’s and increasing year by year for a long time and a 100% safe dividend.
The Bank declared its initial dividend at the rate of 3% per annum on July 1, 1833. Payments have been made continuously since.

Why don’t you enter positions using short puts? It’s super basic to learn and can reduce your cost basis. I guess the only limitation is that you must be willing/able to acquire a minimum of 100 shares which might not be possible for everyone.

no, you didn’t get it right at all! I sold for other reasons, and this is an educational portfolio, thus there is a reason behind it as explained in the video:-) you know, if you watch the videos, you might actually get some answers!

Hello Sven, thank you for yet another great video. I understand that the YT Portfolio should serve just the educational purpose, however wouldn’t it maybe make more sense to first define overall strategy for “our YT Portfolio” and make investments moves according to that? An idea would be to first search for 20 great businesses to follow them. And only if the “PRICE” of the business fit to our YT Portfolio strategy, we make a move. Just an idea how to make this YT Portfolio series more consistent.

Sven, have you gone over the “Discount Rate” in a video that can catch me up with your evaluation method? You mention what my (as an investor) discount rate requirement is (10, 7 or 5% for instance) but I am not up to speed on what that means.
