Thanks for the great video Marc!
Thanks! Cheers.
I think I can give you some insight on this topic Marc. My wife is probably the best immigration consultant in our area. She works with lots of farms in Leamington, Ontario and Essex county to bring in farm workers. Thousands of them. These farms spend a lot of money to make sure their workers are compliant with Canada’s immigration laws. To hear that upwards of 50% of the farm workers in the USA are illegal is really disappointing. In my opinion if a farm is exploiting the situation by hiring illegal people and paying the sub par wages and putting them up in sub par living conditions they should definately be held accountable. The farms can be compliant if they wanted to be.
Trump just announced 25% tariffs on Canadian goods
Canada will be in deep 💩
Canada could be in deep 💩; last time Trump changed Nafta and Canada was in the losing end. US’ expected “america first” policy is not going to be favorable for our trading
How’s that for timing!??! 😂
@@beaviswealth thats what I was thinking 🙂
😂😂 Wouldn’t you know it….. literally as I posted this video, the headline came out that Trump has promised a 25% tariff on all Canadian goods. After you watch this video, you’ll be able to weigh in on whether his pick for Treasury Secretary will be able to influence that decision!!!
negotiation tool to get what he wants! We will lose in the end but the 25% is a threat
Looking forward to your next video that addresses the potential tariffs.
Geez Louise…..call the care home….grampa’s on the loose again.
“…if Canada and Mexico don’t stop the illegal immigrants from crossing into the US”. This is a known issue.
If he is serious, this is a recipe for stagflation. If population growth was propping up the GDP, and if our population is projected to remain flat for the next couple of years, it is possible that we get a technical recession (pending gov spending). At the same time, the bank of Canada will not be in a position to cut rates despite the weakness. So that is bad news for the Canadian economy, if true. We would have got stagflation regardless, but these tarrifs will only make it worse.
Thanks for the video! Hopefully Bessent will moderate Trump.
EDIT: A 25% tariff? Doesn’t he know how many raw materials the US gets from Canada?
It’s impossible to anticipate these things now, I guess. This will be a wild 4 years. Thanks for watching, Kevin.
The thing is, even if the tariffs don’t end up being 25%, the fact is he IS and will CONTINUE to be unpredictable, unstable and honestly, uncontrollable. We are in for a rough ride….remain seated and keep your seatbelts fastened. Oh and could somebody tell him that 35 states do most of their trade with Canada? If that doesn’t work, maybe somebody will duct tape over his pie hole so he can’t dictate for social media?!?! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
