Well when you see how much tech was propping up the S&P. A rebound was bound to happen
Agreed. It wasn’t a matter of if, but when. Let’s see how this all plays out.
I’m nervous about the TSX opening up tomorrow…
worst case down -5pc
@@jeffyjeff1986 guess it’s time to DCA some of my holdings
@@kayvonmotamed what r u holding in tsx they r mostly beaten down alrdy except like energy
Yes, I was wondering what Canadian stocks will fall tomorrow
Nah don’t be nervous. Either hold or take advantage of it
Love this video! I been preaching this on Blossom in like forever.
Awesome…. keep preaching!
Thank you! Was interested in what you would have had to say about this today! Always great advice and information.
Thank you.
I’m taking this correction to add more of VOO. The market might likely continue to sell off but will eventually rebound and I’m still holding for the next 20 years anyways. Whenever there is a general correction like this, I always find ETFs a great way to cast a net over most of those sales without getting screwed buying a dud.
Any concerns with VOO’s valuation (eg. S&P 500’s valuation? Pretty sure it’s upwards of 26-27 or thereabouts. I believe the mean over the past 40 yrs is under 20, which essentially means it’s 35% above it’s modern day historical mean. Curious to hear your thoughts.
Thank you for this reminder!
thanks for the insight
You’re welcome. Thanks.
Not a concern for long term investors.
3% DIP
5% MILD CORRECTION
10% CORRECTION
15% SEVERE CORRECTION EVERY 2 YEARS
20% BEAR CORRECTION EVERY 3.5 YEARS
Buy and hold!
Thanks Marc.
You’re welcome, as always.
Just continuing to DCA lol
Just invested 30k in nasdaq. It hurts but the nasdaq isn’t a company. It wont bankrupt. I just need to wait the end of the bleeding and the recovery
I always appreciate the wisdom that you continuously share. Thanks again.
My pleasure! Thank you.
Thank you Marc. It’s a comforting reminder like the old Buckley’s commercial, “It tastes awful, but it works”. 😅
So true! I love that stuff! Not because of the taste, obviously, but it actually does work.
Hey Mark can we get a recession indicator video update , would be pretty cool to look at those charts right now with all this panic, i know its been a while
Daddy Marc having a good day teaching these young whipper snappers who are all in on tech 😆😆😆
Always trying to do my part. 🙂
Great sensible advice!
Thanks.
I thought the market was down 20% or something judging by the crazy reactions everyone’s having… turns out it’s barely down at all.
I’ve never ran to a store for a 5% sale.
Ya i thought the sky was falling, I also dont run across town to save 2 cents on gas.
I missed it all because I slept in, had a lot of coffee and read a magazine, went for a hike, and drank few beers on the deck…but if all this is due to a bad US jobs report, it seems pretty extreme! I am glad my reaction so far is ‘meh’.
Wow… you’ve had a busy day! 😆
I may be wrong but IMO regardless of all the gains in tech over the last decade i dont believe there was ever a good time to get in.
