Mexico City is amazing, it’s like NYC (but kind of better?) and I lived there for 5 years! My fiancé and I moved to another city in Mexico last year but are strongly considering moving back to CDMX because there’s no place like it. It’s impossible to run out of things to discover, especially if you’re excited to explore lesser known (by foreigners) parts of the city. A lot of the lessons you learned are applicable to renting and daily life as well in Mexico, so live and learn like you said!
