  1. Did you change the sound and lighting? I know nothing about film so my opinion should be taken with several pounds of salt, but it seems a bit…colder? it seems more personal and warm before…pretty polished with the music, though! of course, I’d take your opinion seriously regardless of the format.

  2. Canada adding half a million people per year isnt helping slow down the economy. Are they going to keep raising rates until the system breaks? nobody has any other ideas ? Its going to get messy.

    1. Well yeah, immigration is actually the solution not the problem. Canada has a few problems, but the absolute biggest problem is entitlements. As in actual entitlements. That is,there’s more people retiring in the next decade than there are people working and paying taxes to support those entitlements. Meanwhile,Canadians are not having babies. That’s a huge demographic poop storm. If you have any ideas besides immigration,to solve the demographic problem, I’m sure everyone who cares would be happy to hear them. As far as keeping raising rates? Yes. That is the best idea any central bank can come up with since it’s literally the only remedy available to them. Kinda sux right? I agree,it’s a potential mess to add to the already mess.

  3. This is probably the increase I told you about a few months back… This might be the last one but don’t hold your breath

Thank you for the coverage as usual

  4. If I may comment on the Canadian Inflation – recently I got a small increase in my salary. First the government premiums ate all that gain, and my bills have grown by about 120 dollars a month. In fact, today, I am earning more base salary (3% more) and I have lost around 7% in my monthly incomes. So each day that I work I make 4% less until the numbers change…. Since 2001 I have only made 18,000 more per year in gross income. That is 22 years. Reflecting on this, and I am a hardworking family man, I see less and less options to properly feed my family. Stating that there is a 5% unemployment is fine, but the salaries are stagnant and so people face the same difficulties over and over again. Just remember that 4% number, it is not getting any better. And since we are all with our heads in the sand, pretending nothing happens, let me make it very clear: Canada has been in a recession since September 2021. Oh, we could soften the blow for a bit, numbers do not lie. When you have been on earth long enough to learn lessons it amazes me that nobody seems to want to accept the things that are happening and only stick their heads deeper in the sand. Until a war ends all of that and then we are all heroes again and we will have a few years of growth. How much are we still cheering on our heroes from 2020/2021? We realized it is not going anywhere that nobody is actually a hero and that in the end we are forced to swallow another bitter pill. People… honestly .
