  1. Although this interview was interesting, I’m saddened that there wasn’t much mention of CRISPR. until the very end This tech is the key to the genomics revolution.

  2. Daves channel is so informative it becomes incredible at times. Picking experts brains with good questions. Thanks dave for expanding knowledge!

  3. The problem with Ark is they are not wrong in the direction of tech, but picking winners at this point is like buying up every dot com in the 90s. Most of Arks stocks will crash and burn.

    1. Fair argument, but I think they’d argue that’s why they’re so research intensive.

    2. @I’m from the year 3452 in the early stages, all the research in the world won’t tell you which company will succeed. And I have seen their research. It’s very bad. A Monte Carlo model is rubbish for instance. Just understanding the supply chain will get you closer to the real numbers.

    3. @Ezer Ratchaga I don’t entirely disagree with you, but the one factor I think you’re missing is that during the dot com bubble the tech wasn’t ready for most of those companies, where this tech boom is essentially the dot com boom present day when it should have happened in the first place, so many of the Ark companies will succeed (where in the 90’s they wouldn’t have). But not all.

  4. What a precise analysis you’ve done, loved it.Each and every video you make is worth watching and taking notes from. But with the high rate of inflation, the economy is heading towards a severe recession.Tesla stock dipped severally, resulting to about 40% drop in the shares value so far . I seriously need suggestions on how to diversify my $400k portfolio made up of volatile TSLA.

    1. Find stocks with market-beating yields
and shares that at least keep pace with the market long term. However, for a
successful long- term strategy you have
to seek guidance from a financial
      advisor.

    2. You are right! I diversified my $550K
portfolio across various market with the
aid of an investment advisor, I have been able to generate a little bit above $1.4m in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds this red season.

    3. Neil, please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I will need his/her management on my much larger portfolio.

    4. My advisor is” Donna Jean Boyette ” You can glance her name up on the internet and verify her yourself., she has years of financial market experience.

  5. Great insight. Am in PACB, shorted to hell. Bit like oil companies constantly attacking Tesla. Evil VS good. Who wins in this mad world is anyone’s guess.

  6. This is as fascinating as James Duoma’s interviews. When he is on again can you ask him again what he thinks the future 20 years from now will be because he didn’t finish his answer and I really want to know.

  7. Dave, thank you 😊 You bring the most interesting thought provoking and relevant content to all of us. Thank you!

  8. I love that you are doing these super valuable long indepth interviews on topics outside of Tesla

  9. Sounds incredibly complex. For the different techniques and processes by different companies, are their accuracy and purity measured and if so, how?

  10. Dave, you asked if the process of attaching was like a magnetic attraction. I assume that was just an attempt to put the process into a more understandable context. Or, during the process of putting the pieces on glass and attaching the different colored ‘things’ to the pieces, do they do anything with a magnetic field with different frequencies? I’ve often entertained the possibility of the genome being a very subtle antenna that might react with other genomes of other creatures.

  11. Dave great job and very nice interview! You should consider together with DNA sequence also the optical geno mapping (OGM) for DNA and structural variants (SV)where this is a key factor for clinical development, identifying cancers, issues etc. Check out bionano genomics BNGO

  12. Bought them all. Crisper has done quite well in this environment. I was expecting the Gene editing stocks to be hit the hardest due to how capital intensive it is.

  13. Always fascinated by the exceptional content and well organized and thought out questions. Thanks for all you do to acquire and share knowledge Dave! Quick one from me: for follow up session please ask about other techniques such as optical genome mapping (OGM). Where does it fall within the genomics technology landscape?

  14. Love the interview! So interesting. So.. one question I have is: is there a website that we can monitor to check on which companies have which drugs that are entering trials for mice or humans?
