  1. Hey Dave… saw your video with your beautiful family yesterday. Thanks brother… I love your peaceful, positive vibe. You make the world a better place with your videos.

    1. You’re looking at the average Dutch publicly traded company structure 🙂 all the power is with the board. Normally they even create share without voting power to be traded.

    2. If it walks like a duck and quakes like a duck, it’s a duck. Pretending to be non-profit whilst clearly being for profit was always disingenuous.

  2. Thanks Dave for your insightful comments about Elon’s statement that money might not be relevant in an AGI world. Reminds me of the time Ross Perot called Steve Jobs after he was ousted from Apple, and was about to start a new company, Next. He had no product, no office, no employee, only a nice Next logo (which he paid 100K for).

Perot had already missed out on another talented young man, Bill Gates. So he wanted to explore the opportunity to invest in Jobs. But Steve called him back only… two weeks later!

I think future AGIs will be like Jobs: they don’t need the money, they ARE the “money.” AGI is the ultimate resource or asset, from which all other resources and assets will flow forth.

  3. Dave, intelligence has always been the value creation of how we view things. Government has access to intelligence. AI just decentralizes it. Just like the internet decentralized information. Money is dumb access. AI evens the playing field for access to intelligence.

  4. Totally mind blowing episode, Dave. Mind expanding conversation. Nobody outside this world will see this stuff coming.

  5. In my own experience and from history, it seems common that visionary creative leaders are undermined and the majority oust the innovative leader. I am curious whether this is due to human nature or more sinister influences.

  6. Dave, best wishes to you and your family over the holidays! Great to get your level understanding during this time of impeccable flux.

  7. Who should be the chosen few to lead us into a future that equates to the building of a better than our current reality?

Who are our Jefferson’s, Madison’s, Franklin’s? Perhaps we ask Chat GPT or, Grok.

  8. Well, I hope it’s true that we’ll all be fine and it will be an age of abundance. Hopefully it’s not just Microsoft replacing all knowledge-workers with AI, factories replacing factory workers with robots, they get all the money and everyone else gets diddly squat.

  9. Dave one of your best blogs, IMHO. Very thought provoking and a bit scary to imagine a time when humanoid robots will become sentient beings who have ideas of their own about what is good for humanity. This reminds me of comic series I used to read when I was a kid called
“Magnum – Man of Steel “ who would fight intelligent robots. Hope it does not become a reality for our children and grandchildren. Best of luck to your dear wife.
