Always excellent content from Dave
It was a GREAT presentation… I look forward to the response of various energy analysts who have been looking at how to rejigger the economy for a renewable future. It’s definitely doable and cheaper to do it rather than not let alone the fact it would all be dead otherwise😢
Thanks, Dave, always appreciate your insights.
Good work; some observations: You say the US market is different to the rest of World which limits likely Cybertruck volumes – this is also surely true for the Semi – you only have to look at Euro trucks to see they are designed for smaller roads. Also, it is widely said that it is harder to make small cars profitably vs. mid or larger cars – here Tesla’s 3rd gen manufacturing platform may put them at an advantange so perhaps a higher share of TAM ?
Great summary… do more Tesla podcasts! : )
thank you for your thoughtful videos, i love it!! Hopefully TSLA can reach this ambitious goal of 20 mil vehicles per year…
Can’t thank you enough for your short form videos < 10mins, which most youtubers are deliberately pushing towards 15-20min+ for higher revenue. Thank you for respecting our time with concise and quality content.
You have ears… you can listen all day, you dont have to watch
@YourLogicalNightmare Personal choice. I reserve my time for family and other stuff, doing a variety of things.
The Tesla Master Plan Part 3 is a treasure trove of info and we have some of the best “miners” in the space helping to find the gold nuggets! Thanks Dave!
The unboxed design and manufacture of the compact will allow easy assembly of different types (hatchback, sedan, …). Can’t wait to see which unpainted exterior they will have. Carbon fiber or fiberglass can be stained in the matrix. Because of dubious mass appeal for the compact, I doubt that they will use stainless steel like in the cyber truck.
Great content, David! Thank you!
Very good video thank you the only thing I disagree with was the cyber truck. The US market for trucks is around 2 1/2 to 3,000,000 per year so I think cyber truck could be up to 1 million thank you.
Dave, thanks for your efforts and information. But I want to respectfully disagree… I don’t think a bus is on the Tesla roadmap… autonomy will kill buses, cost per mile will be low enough to replace most standard bus operations. Curious if you have thoughts on that?
I hope there is a small truck option.
Cool analysis, bit CT can sell way more. Northern Europe, South America, Australia will be all over the CT. Plus the military will buy loads. Its also an amazing first responder vehicle.
Hi Dave, 53kWh may easily fit in a smaller type of car, when in only a few years from now next generation battery tech will be utilized.
20 mil by 2030 right? I’m rooting for Tesla but after watching for the last 3 years +, how much time it takes for them to ramp with one vehicle, let alone another 4 or 5. I think it is borderline that they will make the 20 million vehicle mark. I think it’s proving to be much more difficult to train people/workers than they anticipated. Not sure though.
I have a cyber truck on order, but what I really want is a CyberVan.
Everyone forgets about the Highland Model 3. I think it’s bigger deal than we think because it’s been “refreshed” to scale super fast. Jeannine
Thanks for the info. I did not see the replacement for the small Toyota pickup that has taken over the mid east and Africa. The one on which a machine gun can be mounted
Dave, Bus could be city buses as well as RVs!
