  1. As always, thanks for your analysis. I’m thinking I’ll take another look at my Tesla portfolio in maybe …October. 🙂 about right? Cheers!

  2. I can confirm that Gigafactory Texas is ramping up their output of Model Ys. For the past two weeks there have been more car carriers loading up and delivering cars. I fly a drone three times a week around the gigafactory.

    1. So now I’m certain to sell more call options against the stock. This is so bad for the company. Thanks for sharing.

    2. @richard chapman Yes, now you know to sell your shares or to sell call options to suckers that think the share price will inflate again.

  3. Tesla’s Investor Relations referring to the mean (average) of a sample as a “consensus” caught my attention. OED defines consensus as “an opinion that all members of a group agree with.” The analysts who provided the estimates were working independently. So they weren’t part of a consensus process. So the question is: Does Tesla’s Investor Relations release this kind of survey at the end of each quarter, or might this be a case of Tesla IR releasing something to lower market expectations in advance of the actual numbers?

  4. I am unhappy with Q2 numbers. I had hoped for abysmal numbers and a stock dump 😀 Would have loved to grab some shares at $200 a pop …

    1. Yeah, I suppose it’s nice that they weren’t terrible, but that probably doesn’t help me buy more shares at a big discount.

  5. Soon we will be seeing those revenue streams that are proportional to the installed base, rather than sales rate. Things like insurance, service revenue, Supercharger revenue. These will add a stabilizing force on the financials because they are recurrent and grow steadily with the size of the installed fleet. They would continue even if car shipments dropped to zero.

  6. Great concise analysis of Tesla Q2 production and deliveries and Tesla company current and near future expectations. Congratulations 🎉, you did a great job. Thanks 👍

  7. I always look forward to your videos! Thanks for the work you do! I feel like we are going to see some more pain in the market (macro factors). I own enough shares already but if TSLA drops further I’m going 🛒!!!
